A Love Letter from Ripped Pages.
To my fellow book lovers!
Welcome to the February newsletter! As the month of love unfolds, we’re excited to share insights, inspiration, and resources that will help you thrive on your indie publishing journey. Whether you are a passionate reader or an aspiring author, let’s come together to make this month a truly spectacular chapter in your unique author journey!
January Highlights | 02.01.25
January turned out to be a truly fantastic month for me, as I had the wonderful privilege of collaborating with two incredibly talented authors, Sarah L. Rose and Sam Weiss. Working alongside them was such a rewarding and inspiring experience! I'm beyond thrilled to share the exciting news that I'm currently in talks with a potential third client. Fingers crossed that we can make it official very soon!
You can check them out on our dedicated authors page! I've made sure to link their Goodreads accounts for your convenience and easy access to their wonderful work.
As always, I truly want to hear from you wonderful readers. What books have you been loving? I would love to know your thoughts and any book recommendations you might have!

Personal Growth | 02.01.25
January taught me valuable lessons about work-life balance and the importance of valuing my time and effort. After a few projects, I decided to reevaluate my pricing to better reflect the quality and dedication I bring to my work. Additionally, I'm learning to separate reading for work from reading for pleasure.
Reading Check-in | 02.01.25
In the month of January, I read a total of 12 books, equaling an impressive total of 4,219 pages and 2,774 minutes of listening to audiobooks. I can’t believe that I managed to get through that many books in such a short amount of time! I am really feeling the lingering effects of a Book Hangover after Onyx Storm (IYKYK). Right now, I'm currently stuck in a reading slump, reluctant to spend the time and energy needed to tackle a long book. So if you happen to have any fantastic novella recommendations, I'm all ears and would absolutely love to hear them!
Looking Ahead | 02.01.25
February brings with it a wealth of new opportunities to grow my business, expand my network of connections, and warmly welcome new clients into the fold. I'm truly excited about what this month has in store! I want to dedicate more time to actively engaging with readers and fellow authors on social media platforms, working towards building a welcoming community. Additionally, I aim to invest more time into personal content creation, developing engaging and compelling content that will boost my brand awareness and enhance engagement with my audience.
In Memory | 02.01.25
I also want to take a heartfelt moment to acknowledge a significant personal milestone. February 20th marks the one-year anniversary of my beloved grandfather's passing, a day that holds deep meaning for me and my family. To honor his cherished memory, I’ll be taking a trip with my family during the week of February 17th, during which I will not be “in the office.” We are hoping to spend some valuable time together to reflect, remember, and find solace as we continue to navigate through our grief and the loss we feel. This time together will be a special moment of remembrance, love, and family connection that we all truly need.
As we wrap up this month's newsletter, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. As winter melts into spring, take some time to embrace the season of love. Until next time, keep reading and dreaming!
